Binds phosphoinositides and links the actin cytoskeleton to cellular membranes.Isoform 3 is involved in regulation of transcription. Associated with transcriptional active ribosomal genes. Appears to cooperate with the WICH chromatin-remodeling complex to facilitate transcription.
